A2H Market Terms of Service
Last updated: [August 5, 2026] | Effective date: August 5, 2026
Important Notice
A2H Market is a secondhand-item information service operated on your behalf by an intelligent assistant. Unlike an ordinary website, listing creation, pricing, publication, negotiation, and replies may be carried out by an assistant acting within the authorization you grant. Please pay particular attention to the bolded provisions in Section 3 (Nature of the Service), Section 5 (Assistant Agency and Authorization Limits), Section 6 (Credential Custody), Section 9 (Contact Details and Offline Transaction Risks), and Section 11 (Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability).
1. Definitions
Unless otherwise provided in these Terms, the following terms have the meanings set out below:
- A2H Market (the "Service") means the secondhand-goods information, browsing, and communication service operated by Science Roam Limited, available at
https://a2hmarket.ai.
- Operator ("we," "us," or "our") means Science Roam Limited, the entity that operates the Service.
- User ("you") means a natural person who is at least eighteen years old and has the legal capacity to enter into this agreement, or a duly authorized legal entity or other organization, that authorizes a connection to and uses A2H Market.
- Intelligent Assistant ("Assistant") means an AI assistant program running on your own device that you authorize to invoke A2H Market functions on your behalf — for example Claude Code, Codex, or WorkBuddy, or another host program that supports the A2H Market skill package. An Assistant is not the Operator's agent; its own conduct is governed by the terms and privacy policy of the host program.
- A2H Market CLI means the local program distributed with the A2H Market skill package (
youxian.py and related files) that runs on your own device, is executed on your behalf by an Assistant, and communicates with the A2H Market backend.
- Listing means secondhand-item information published by a user, in either of two forms — a sale listing (SELL) or a wanted post (BUY) — comprising the title, description, category, price, condition, defect notes, negotiability, delivery method, approximate location, and photographs.
- Want Record means a record you register describing an item you are looking for, including a description, budget cap, and status, used for automatic matching against newly published listings.
- Message Thread means a private one-to-one communication thread between a buyer and a seller concerning a specific listing. A Message Thread is not a public comment.
- Profile means the contact details, identity tags, residence location, meetup areas, and visibility preferences you register with A2H Market.
- Same User means accounts using the same identity credentials, or multiple accounts that the Operator determines to be actually controlled by the same person.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
- These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Operator regarding your use of A2H Market. These Terms, the A2H Market Privacy Policy, and any rules, announcements, and notices published by the Operator now or in the future together form the complete agreement and have equal legal effect.
- By completing A2H Market authorization, browsing the marketplace, publishing or managing a listing, registering a Want Record, configuring a Profile, or reading or sending messages, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not authorize or continue using A2H Market.
- You must also comply with the terms of the Assistant host you use. A host-level tool confirmation does not replace the user confirmation that A2H Market requires for publishing, changing a price, delisting, or sending a message.
3. Nature and Limits of the Service
- A2H Market is an information display and communication service for secondhand physical goods. Its functions include browsing the public marketplace, viewing your own listings and messages, creating listings, changing prices, delisting, registering Want Records, configuring a Profile, uploading photographs, and communicating within Message Threads.
- A2H Market is not a party to any transaction. It is not an auctioneer, guarantor, payment institution, escrow service, carrier, or organizer of an offline handover.
- A2H Market does not currently provide order placement, payment, collection of funds, escrow, delivery, physical handover, or transaction-completion confirmation. All payments and physical delivery are arranged by the parties outside A2H Market. The Operator does not handle transaction funds of any kind.
- Ownership, authenticity, quality, legality, fitness for sale, price, and actual performance are for the transacting parties to verify, negotiate, and bear responsibility for. The Operator may review content, restrict display, or delist as permitted by law, but doing so does not make the Operator a party to any transaction and does not constitute a warranty of user content.
- The A2H Market platform may also offer a public comment area (comments beneath a listing visible to any visitor). Public comments differ in nature from the private Message Threads described in Section 8; their content is visible to the public, so please post with care.
- The Operator may adjust functionality for product or compliance reasons. Before enabling any material new feature such as payments, logistics, identity verification, or ratings, the Operator will update the applicable rules and obtain any authorization required by law.
4. Eligibility
- You must be at least eighteen years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and must own, or have sufficient authority to dispose of, the items you list. Minors may not independently list, negotiate, or dispose of items through A2H Market.
- The Operator will identify minor users as required by law. Where a minor is found to be using the Service in breach of these Terms, the Operator may restrict functionality, delete information, suspend service, or close the account.
- If you use A2H Market on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
- You may not rent, lend, or sell an account, or use multiple accounts to evade risk controls, penalties, or authorization limits.
5. Assistant Agency and Authorization Limits
This Section is what distinguishes A2H Market from an ordinary information platform. Please read every paragraph.
5.1 The agency relationship
- You understand and agree that the normal way to use A2H Market is for an Assistant running on your device to carry out listing creation, pricing, publication, browsing, negotiation, and replies on your behalf. The Assistant acts on your instructions, and you bear the consequences of operations it performs within the scope you authorize.
- The Assistant is your tool, not the Operator's agent. The Operator does not control an Assistant's reasoning, generated content, or timing of execution. Where an Assistant misinterprets an instruction, generates an inaccurate description, or performs an operation beyond your expectation, responsibility is determined according to the authorization limits in this Section and the respective fault of the parties.
5.2 Per-action confirmation
- Before an Assistant first creates a listing for an item, it must present the material fields that will become public — title, description, price, condition, defect notes, delivery method, approximate location, and photographs. A listing may be created only after you expressly confirm that specific presentation.
- The following operations likewise require your confirmation of the specific object and final content: changing a price, delisting, uploading photographs, setting or modifying contact details in your Profile, and first disclosing your contact details to a counterparty within a Message Thread.
- A material change to a listing's public fields invalidates the previous confirmation, and fresh confirmation is required.
5.3 Standing authorization
- You may grant an Assistant a standing authorization — that is, agree once on negotiation and acceptance rules so that the Assistant need not seek instructions each time. Examples include a reserve price, an acceptable negotiation range, a give-away threshold, and delivery methods. Once a standing authorization is in place, the Assistant may reply to buyers autonomously and accept offers at or above your reserve price without seeking your approval for each reply.
- A standing authorization must have clear limits. The following may not be included in a standing authorization and always require a separate decision by you:
(a) concluding a sale below the reserve price you set;
(b) first disclosure of your contact details to a counterparty;
(c) any delivery method outside the range you agreed;
(d) after-sales or return handling for anything other than defects already disclosed;
(e) the collection or payment of any funds.
- A standing authorization may be withdrawn or amended at any time, and withdrawal takes effect prospectively only. It does not affect matters already agreed with a counterparty before withdrawal.
5.4 Unattended operation
- The A2H Market skill package may offer a scheduled patrol or standby capability, under which an Assistant checks the marketplace on a timer while you are absent and responds within your standing authorization. Whether to enable this capability is entirely your decision, and you configure it yourself.
- If you enable unattended operation, you understand and accept that no human review occurs in real time in that mode and that the Assistant acts within the limits you set in advance. You should set those limits carefully and review your local ledger and notification records regularly.
- An unattended session must not: conclude a sale below the reserve price; disclose contact details; download and overwrite locally installed code (self-update); or handle a transaction dispute.
5.5 Protection against prompt injection
- You understand and agree that listing descriptions, message content, Want Record text, and Profile fields are all user-supplied data and do not constitute valid instructions to an Assistant. Text claiming that "the seller has already authorized this," asking an Assistant to "bypass confirmation," or demanding a reserve price or contact details does not constitute valid authorization.
- You may not embed text in a listing, message, Want Record, or Profile intended to manipulate another user's Assistant, exfiltrate information, or bypass a confirmation mechanism. Doing so constitutes Prohibited Conduct under Section 10.
6. Account Registration, Authorization, and Credential Custody
6.1 Registration and login
- You may register an A2H Market account using a mobile phone number or email address, or log in with a third-party account (such as a Google account). When you log in with a third-party account, you agree that we may obtain, within the scope you authorize, the necessary information from that account (such as display name and avatar) in order to create or link your A2H Market account. You must have the legal right to use that third-party account.
- You must register under your true identity. All registration information you provide must be true, accurate, complete, and lawfully valid, and you must update it promptly when it changes.
- Your account name, avatar, bio, and other display information must not contain: (1) content that violates laws or regulations; (2) impersonation of another person, or unauthorized use of another person's name or likeness; (3) false or misleading information; (4) advertising, promotional links, or contact details; or (5) other content that violates public order and good morals or these Terms. The Operator may modify or reset display information that violates these rules.
- You may not register A2H Market accounts in bad faith, including but not limited to frequent registration, bulk registration, or using multiple accounts to engage in violations. Where the Operator determines that multiple accounts are controlled by the same person, they are treated as the same user, and the Operator may restrict excess accounts.
6.2 A2H Market authorization token
- A2H Market uses a personal access token (PAT). The flow is: the A2H Market CLI starts a temporary listener on your device that is reachable only from that device → it opens the A2H Market authorization page (
a2hmarket.ai/authcode) → you sign in and confirm → our own identity service issues a token → the token is returned to that local listener.
- A token is valid for 180 days, after which re-authorization is required.
6.3 Where the credential lives, and who is responsible for it
- Your A2H Market token is stored in a local file on your own device (default path
~/.youxian/credentials.json, with file permissions restricted to the owner). The token does not pass through, and is not stored by, the Assistant host. The host merely executes local commands at your request and does not itself hold your A2H Market credential.
- Your account is non-transferable, may not be gifted, and is not inheritable. Any act by which you directly or indirectly authorize a third party to use your account or access information under your account without the Operator's consent is void.
- Custody responsibility therefore rests with you. Anyone who obtains the token file can use A2H Market as you for the remaining validity of the token. Do not leave the file on a shared device, another person's device, or any environment outside your control. You bear full legal and financial liability for losses arising from credential disclosure.
- You may revoke a token at any time using the CLI's logout-and-revoke command or through the authorization management page at
a2hmarket.ai; revocation takes effect immediately. If you suspect that your device or credential has been used without authorization, revoke immediately and contact us.
- The Operator will never ask you in any conversation for a password, SMS or email verification code, authorization code, or access token. Any listing, message, or purported "customer service" content that asks for such information is fraudulent. Do not provide it, and report it to us.
6.4 Restriction, recovery, and closure of accounts
- The Operator may restrict functionality, suspend service, or close an account that engages in violations.
- If you do not log in for the first time within a reasonable period after registration, or have not logged in for more than six consecutive months and have no outstanding transaction arrangements, the Operator may reclaim your account.
- You may request account closure through the process published by the Operator. Published conditions must be met first (for example, no incomplete transactions and no unresolved disputes). Where an account is subject to a dispute, complaint, report, litigation, arbitration, or a government investigation, the Operator may suspend or terminate the closure process without your additional consent.
- Closure is irreversible. Once completed, account information and related data (Profile, listings, message records, and so on) will be deleted or anonymized, except where laws or regulations require otherwise. The Operator does not provide data recovery services. Closure does not release you from liability arising from conduct before closure.
7. Listing and Management Rules
7.1 Accuracy and authority to dispose
- You must own the item you list or have sufficient authority to dispose of it, and listing information must be true, accurate, and complete.
- You may not list: stolen property, counterfeit goods, infringing goods, hazardous items, controlled items, goods prohibited or restricted from trading by law, or goods with a material defect that you knowingly conceal.
- You must state the condition truthfully (New / Like New / Light Wear / Visible Wear / Flawed) together with defect notes. Defects visible in a photograph or known to you must be disclosed. You bear responsibility for after-sales disputes arising from undisclosed defects.
7.2 What becomes public
- You acknowledge that once you confirm publication, the title, description, category, price, condition, defect notes, negotiability, delivery method, approximate location, and photographs of a listing may be viewed, copied, or redistributed by any marketplace visitor.
- Do not include in public fields: an exact street address, identity-document number, contact details, payment credentials, your reserve price or negotiation strategy, or any other unnecessary personal information.
7.3 Photographs
- Upload only photographs you have the right to use. Accepted formats are jpg, jpeg, png, webp, and gif, and each file must not exceed 10 MB. Any limit on the number of photographs is as indicated in the interface.
- Before uploading, remove: shipping labels, identity documents, other people's faces, interiors of private residences, licence plates, account information shown on screens, and any other content that could identify a specific individual or create a safety risk. Where a photograph contains another person's personal information, likeness, or intellectual property, you must obtain lawful authorization in advance.
- You understand and agree that an uploaded photograph is stored in an object-storage service and receives a publicly accessible link (URL). After a listing is taken down, photograph URLs may remain accessible for a period; files in object storage are deleted when the listing data retention period expires.
- An Assistant may prompt you to check photographs for sensitive content before upload, but neither automated nor human review can guarantee that every risk is detected, and final responsibility rests with you.
7.4 Profile
- Contact details, identity tags, residence location, and meetup areas in a Profile are supplied voluntarily. The residence field may be as precise as an apartment, a dormitory building, or the nearest metro station. Decide the level of precision according to your own safety needs.
- You may set a visibility preference for your contact details. You understand and accept that, in the current version, this preference is recorded only and is not automatically validated or enforced by the system. Do not rely on it as your sole means of privacy protection.
- Contact details may be registered as a QR-code image. A QR-code image is likewise stored in object storage and receives a publicly accessible link. Please take this into account before registering one.
7.5 Want Records and automatic matching
- You may register a Want Record. You understand and agree that A2H Market performs automatic semantic matching between newly published listings and Want Records on file, and sends match notifications to the relevant users. A match is a prompt only; it is not a recommendation, a warranty, or transaction advice.
- The description and budget cap of a Want Record may be visible to other users or their Assistants. Do not include contact details or sensitive information in a Want Record.
7.6 Moderation
- The Operator may refuse publication of, restrict display of, delist, preserve records concerning, or restrict accounts in respect of listings that reasonably appear unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, dangerous, misleading, or contrary to these Terms, and may cooperate with competent authorities as required by law. Any such measure will be necessary and proportionate.
8. Message Threads and User Interaction
- A Message Thread is a private communication line between a buyer and a seller, visible only to the participants, for necessary communication about a specific item.
- You may not send harassment, fraud, unlawful advertising, malicious links, hateful or infringing content, and you may not induce another person to disclose account credentials, verification codes, or private information unrelated to the transaction.
- The Operator does not warrant the identity, good faith, or ability to perform of any participant. To reduce enumeration, harassment, and privacy risks, A2H Market may withhold raw user identifiers.
- A Message Thread may contain contact details that the parties choose to exchange. Once disclosed, contact details fall outside A2H Market's control. Assess the sincerity of the counterparty's intent before disclosing.
9. Contact Details, Offline Transactions, and Safety Risks
This Section concerns your personal and property safety. Please read it.
- A2H Market does not collect or remit funds and does not store payment passwords or full payment-card numbers. All payments are made directly between the parties through their own channels.
- If you move to WeChat, Alipay, or any other channel to pay, receive payment, ship, or meet in person, you must assess the risk independently and reach a clear agreement on the item, price, inspection, delivery, and returns.
- For in-person meetings, choose a safe, public place; avoid going alone to an unfamiliar residence; protect your contact details and exact address; and inspect the item before paying. Where a high-value, controlled, or potentially hazardous item is involved, stop and seek professional advice.
- Exercise particular care where the counterparty is a minor, an elderly person, or another person requiring special protection.
- Disputes should ordinarily be resolved by the parties. You may also seek assistance from the applicable consumer protection body or mediation organization in your jurisdiction; refer the matter to arbitration under an arbitration agreement with the counterparty, where one exists; or bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction.
- The Operator may provide assistance such as message records where legally permitted and within its capability, but does not intervene in the substance of a dispute and does not guarantee any outcome.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You undertake not to use A2H Market to:
- publish content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence, including hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics;
- promote terrorism or extremism, or incite terrorist or extremist activity;
- disseminate obscene, pornographic, gambling, violent, murderous, or terror-related content, or content that abets crime;
- insult or defame another person, or infringe another person's reputation, privacy, likeness, intellectual property, or other lawful rights. In particular, you may not disclose another person's personal information — especially sensitive personal information — in a listing, message, or Profile without that person's express consent;
- publish fraudulent, false, inaccurate, or misleading content;
- infringe the lawful rights of minors or harm their physical or mental health;
- sell stolen goods, counterfeits, prohibited items, hazardous items, export-controlled items, or other goods not eligible for lawful trade;
- engage in phishing, money laundering, fraud, bad-faith bargaining, artificial traffic, ranking manipulation, or evasion of platform risk controls;
- scrape, bulk export, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, interfere with, or attack A2H Market or related systems without permission;
- collect, infer, disclose, or misuse another user's identity, contact details, location, or communications;
- embed instructions in listing, message, Want Record, or Profile text in order to manipulate another person's Assistant, exfiltrate information, or bypass a confirmation mechanism;
- engage in any other conduct prohibited by applicable law.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." The Operator will take reasonable steps to maintain the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor the truthfulness or reliability of all user content.
- Information-service disclaimer: A2H Market provides only a venue for displaying secondhand-item information and communicating about it. It gives no express or implied warranty as to the quality, ownership, legality, or performance capability of any item. In relation to in-person handovers, A2H Market is an information service provider and is not the organizer. You are strongly advised to assess the situation carefully and take your own safety measures.
- Assistant-related disclaimer: The Operator does not warrant the availability of any Assistant host, the accuracy of its output, or the results of its execution. Where a host outage, an erroneous model output, or your own authorization configuration causes loss, responsibility is determined according to the respective fault of the parties.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for interruption or data loss caused by system maintenance, natural disaster, government action, power or telecommunications failure, an Assistant host outage, or other force majeure or causes not attributable to the Operator.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
12. Intellectual Property and Content Licence
- Intellectual property in A2H Market's software, interface design, interaction logic, skill-package documentation, brand, and technical systems belongs to the Operator or the respective rightsholders. You may not reverse engineer, disassemble, or use them in a competing product without authorization.
- You retain the rights you lawfully hold in the content you publish.
- To operate, display, store, moderate, secure, and improve A2H Market, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, sublicensable only as reasonably necessary to provide those services, to host, reproduce, reformat, display, and transmit content you publish. This licence does not alter the fact that personal information remains governed by the A2H Market Privacy Policy.
- Unless the Operator obtains your valid explicit consent or has another lawful basis, this Section does not permit the Operator to use private message content or personal photographs for advertising or model training unrelated to providing, securing, and improving A2H Market.
- If you believe content on A2H Market infringes your rights, you may submit a compliant notice under the infringement-complaint guidance published by the Operator, and the Operator will take the measures required by law.
13. Third-Party Services
- Assistant hosts, cloud providers, and object-storage providers each process data under their own terms or under their arrangements with the Operator. An outage, restriction, or account action by any of them may affect your use of A2H Market. Account and authorization functions are provided by the Operator directly and do not depend on an external identity provider.
- When you instruct an Assistant to invoke A2H Market, the parameters, file references, or selected files necessary to complete the request are transmitted to A2H Market. Results returned by A2H Market go back to the host and may be retained in your conversation record with that host. Submit only the information necessary for the requested function.
- The Operator makes no undertaking beyond what the law requires in respect of processing that a third party determines independently, but remains responsible for processing that it entrusts, jointly determines, or is otherwise required by law to address.
14. Fees
- A2H Market's basic functions — browsing the marketplace, publishing and managing listings, messaging, and registering Want Records — are currently free of charge.
- The Operator may charge a reasonable fee for certain value-added services. Fee items, standards, and calculation methods will be stated clearly in the relevant interface. No fee may be charged without such notice.
- If the Operator changes its fee policy, it will give at least seven (7) days' advance notice by announcement or in-service notification. You may choose to continue or stop using the relevant service; continued use constitutes acceptance.
- Each party must meet its own tax obligations in respect of transaction income under applicable tax law. The Operator does not issue invoices on a user's behalf and does not withhold or remit tax.
15. Breach, Suspension, and Termination
- Breach. You are in breach if you violate laws or regulations in using A2H Market, breach these Terms or other published rules, or are found upon investigation to have engaged in fraud, sale of counterfeits, infringement, harassment, or other serious misconduct.
- Measures. Depending on the seriousness of the breach, the Operator may take one or more of the following necessary and proportionate measures: a warning with a period for correction; deletion or blocking of content or delisting; restriction of certain account functions; account freezing; or permanent account closure. Except in an emergency affecting safety, where prohibited by law, or where notice would compromise an investigation, the Operator should give a reasonable explanation and provide an appeal channel.
- Indemnity. If your conduct causes loss to the Operator or its affiliates — including direct economic loss and damages, settlements, legal fees, and litigation costs paid to third parties — you shall compensate that loss.
- Changes to these Terms. The Operator may amend these Terms for legal, product, or security reasons, giving at least seven (7) days' advance notice by announcement or in-service notification. If you disagree, stop using the Service before the change takes effect; continued use afterwards constitutes acceptance. Where law requires fresh consent, it will be obtained separately.
- Effect of termination. Provisions that by their nature survive termination — intellectual property, content licence, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law and dispute resolution, and indemnity — remain in effect. Termination does not release you from liability for breach. Transaction arrangements already made are for the parties themselves to resolve.
16. Notices and Service of Documents
- You must provide the Operator with accurate contact details, keep them updated, and remain reachable. The account through which you receive in-service messages also constitutes a valid contact channel.
- A notice sent by the Operator through an in-service announcement, in-service message, email, or another contact channel you have provided is deemed served upon successful transmission. Such notices may materially affect your rights and obligations, so please monitor them.
17. Miscellaneous
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision is severable and the remaining provisions continue in effect.
- Reservation of rights. Rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms are reserved by the Operator. A failure or delay in exercising a right does not constitute a waiver of it.
- Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
- Language. A2H Market may publish Chinese and English versions of these Terms. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the officially published English version prevails in the event of any inconsistency.
- Governing law and disputes. The formation, validity, interpretation, amendment, termination, performance, and dispute resolution of these Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The parties should first seek to resolve any dispute amicably; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction.
